TECHNIKĄ ROZCIEŃCZEŃ IZOTOPOWYCH SPEKTROMETRII MAS

Cadmium and its compounds are recognised because of their toxic effect on living organisms. Thus, it is neces-
sary to monitor their content in environment and food products. The reference materials plays a crucial role in
assuring the accuracy of the measurement’s results of chemical analysis. In this paper, the accurate procedure for
the certification of cadmium content in new certified reference materials prepared within the project MODAS
is described. The isotopic dilution mass spectrometry, consider as a definite measurement technique for trace
analysis, was used for this purpose.
